We are approximately 69.6 miles from George Bush International (IAH) airport and 41.3 miles from William P Hobby Airport (HOU). There are several shuttle options such as Island Breeze , Galveston Express , Galveston Limousine , Galveston Flyer or the Super Shuttle Uber and Lift also provide transportation to the island.
While on the island if you choose not to rent a car or just need a ride, Chris Kimble with “Coastal with Kimble” is a private driver servicing Galveston 832-865-8344.
Uber and Lift are also options for local travel
